With cybercrime costing Africa $3bn between 2019 and 2025 according to INTERPOL, Cotonou is establishing itself as a strategic meeting point. On 16-17 November 2026, the Cyber Africa Forum will bring more than 1,500 decision-makers to the Sofitel Cotonou: ministers, CISOs, DPOs, regulators and investors. On the agenda: sovereignty and AI, personal data governance and the interoperability of identity systems.
